Alabama(6-3) slipped by Tennessee State(3-6) Wednesday, as the game kept basically the same tempo the whole game. Alonzo Gee scored 24  points, making him the Tide’s leading scorer, and Ronald Steele had 13. Tennessee State’s scoring was led by Gerald Robinson, with 15 points. The Tide fell behind early 4-2, but that would be the only time they trailed during this game. The Tide’s largest lead was 22 points, when the score was 39-17. The Tide boosted their record to 6-3 following this 75-66 victory.
